Too far to drive? Mail me the laptop.

Laptops, consoles, and drives for data recovery travel well. I diagnose it, then call you with a firm price before I touch anything. You can follow the repair from your phone.

  1. 1

    Tell me it's coming

Pick “Mail it in” on the quote form, or call. I send you a ticket number and the address. The address isn't on this page so packages never arrive unannounced.

  2. 2

    Pack it box-in-box

Wrap the laptop or console in bubble wrap, put it in a small box, then put that box inside a bigger one with padding on all six sides. If it rattles when you shake it, add more. Put a note inside with your name, phone, and what it's doing.

  3. 3

    Ship it with tracking

USPS, UPS or FedEx all work. Insure it for what it would cost to replace. Text me the tracking number, or just watch the status page; I log it when it arrives.

  4. 4

    I look, then I call

Drop-offs and mail-ins start with a diagnosis ($30) that comes off the bill if you go ahead with the repair. I call you with a firm price, you decide, and it ships back to you with tracking when it's done. You pay to ship the device to me. Return shipping is included in the repair price.
